| Description |
| Program |
This is a
27-day adventure, 40 degrees South of the Equator, in one of the most
spectacular and beautiful areas of the continent. We will explore
the capital, Santiago, and will travel to Valdivia to participate in
workshops especially designed by the Universidad
San Sebastian for
students of Spanish at Otterbein. The workshops will deal with
history, culture, and language, cuisine, and theater and will be
directed by the faculty of the Universidad
San Sebastian.

From the Andes
Mountains to the lakes of Valdivia and to the Pacific Ocean, we will
explore the fascinating geography of the Southern Cone, and we will
examine the history and present day institutions of these
countries. We will take a ferry to explore the island of Chiloe
and its culture. Then we will go tango and sightsee San Carlos de
Bariloche, Argentina!
