The Otterbein Dijon French Studies Program

Admission

College sophomores, juniors, and seniors are admitted who have had at least 10  quarter hours (preferably more) of college French or the equivalent with an average grade of "B." They must be recommended by a member of the French teaching staff and an instructor from another department.

Upon arrival at the Centre International d'Etudes Françaises, students are tested for placement in the appropriate language courses. Assistance is given by the director of the program who is in residence the entire academic year. In general, he assists students in their adjustments to independent study required of European students and acts as a liaison between our students and university administrators.
