For French majors
|
In
an informal partnership with the Embassy
of France and the French-American
Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Foreign
Languages invites Otterbein students to apply for competitive
internships in France (in the public and private business sectors)
offered by the Cultural Services of

The
Fulbright U.S. Student Program
|
For
all languages and majors
|
| The
Fulbright Program offers yearly
U. S. student competitions for full grants, travel grants, and teaching
assistantships abroad. The Fulbright
U.S. Student program offers B.S./B.A. graduates, master’s and doctoral
candidates (in any area of study) opportunities to promote mutual
understanding between peoples of the
United States and other countries.
Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens who will have a B.S/B.A
degree
before the beginning date of grant. For more information, go to

The English
Assistantship Program in France
|
For
French Majors and Minors
|
The French Ministry of Education and
the Cultural Services at the French
Embassy offer between 1,000 and 1,700 teaching assistant
position in French
primary and secondary schools and in Instituts
universitaires de formation des
maîtres (IUFMs) in all regions of France and the DOM-TOMS
to persons who
fulfill the following requirements :
*You are an American
citizen (or have a green card)
*You are between 20
and 34 years of age as of October 1, 2006
*You are currently
pursuing or have already attained a college degree
*You are proficient
in French. Students without a major or minor in French but with a basic
proficiency (about 3 semesters) in French can apply.
