The Department of Foreign Languages Offers
A Stimulating

Learning
Environment
|
- Classes are small to ensure maximum oral
practice;
- Courses are enriched by use of video, web-based
and cultural activities;
- Most courses are taught in multimedia
classrooms.
- The department offers a foreign-language
tutoring lab (open Monday through Friday) operated by native-speaking
student assistants.
- The language assistants also animate weekly
conversations tables at local cafés and ice cream shops.
- Students also attend film festivals, cultural
presentations, and local art exhibits
featuring the languages and cultures of study.
