The GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) Advisory Committee was established in the spring of 2005 by a group of students, faculty and administrators at Otterbein College. The group was formed to assess campus climate and build a positive and supportive environment for our GLBTQ community.

The mission of this committee is:
  • Educate, educate, educate: raise awareness and promote a culture of respect
  • Make an anti-homophobic presence visible on campus
  • Create a more queer-positive culture among faculty, staff, and administrators
  • Provide a welcoming environment, information and resources to interested students
