Early Childhood Teaching Licensure
The early childhood program (B.S.E.) leads to licensure for teaching ages three through eight or pre-kindergarten through grade three.

Choose one required concentration area from:

  • French
  • Early Childhood Intervention (includes second license)
  • Language Arts
  • Language/Culture: Deaf Community
  • Mathematics
  • Reading (includes endorsement)
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Spanish

Middle Childhood Teaching Licensure
The middle childhood program (B.S.E.) leads to licensure for teaching ages 8-14 (grades 4-9).

Choose two required concentration areas from:

  • Language Arts and Reading
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies

Adolescent to Young Adult Teaching Licensure
The adolescence to young adult programs lead to licensure for teaching ages 12-21 (grades 7-12).

Available concentration areas include:

  • Integrated Language Arts (English Literature Major)
  • Integrated Mathematics
  • Integrated Social Studies (History Major)
  • Life Sciences
  • Physical Sciences (Chemistry and Physics)

Multi-Age Teaching Licensure
The multi-age programs lead to licensure for teaching ages 3-21 (pre-kindergarten through grade 12).

Available concentration areas include:

  • Art
  • Foreign Language (French or Spanish)
  • Health
  • Music
  • Physical Education
