The Otterbein horses were welcomed to their new home, the Center for Equine Studies, on Sept. 11. Click here to see more pictures of the horses moving in.

Otterbein's new equine center opened in Fall 2009. The facility combines horses, stables, pastures and education in a suburban setting at 600 N. Spring Road in Westerville, Ohio. Click here to get directions.

The new state-of-the-art facility will allow Otterbein's Equine Science program to expand its course offerings and to double its enrollment, from 75 to 150 students, over the next 10 years. The facility includes 52 stalls, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, pastures, classrooms, a riding trail, and housing for the full-time stable manager.

The new facility will also allow for a limited number of students to board their horses. Details.
