| January 1 | File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA. Priority filing deadline is April 1st. |
| Mar. 1-Sept. 1 | Notify the Financial Aid Office about non-Otterbein scholarships received by the student. |
| May 1 | First-time borrowers, select Stafford Loan lender, complete Entrance Interview and Master Promissory Note (MPN) here. August 1st completion deadline to ensure funds are on account for Autumn quarter. |
| June 1 | Begin payment plan, if you wish to participate in this program. |
| September 1 | First time borrowers, complete Federal Perkins Loan Promissory Note and entrance interview here. |
*The Business Office sends bills approximately one month prior to the start of the quarter. The payment of the bill is due by the first day of classes.
*Stafford Loan funds are received by Otterbein College the second week of classes and then post to the student account.
