$1.5 Million Dollar Gift Commences Funding for the Equine Center at Otterbein College
The Board of Trustees has authorized the construction of a new academic equine science facility on the former Kilgore property, 111 acres owned by the College on Spring Road in Westerville. The facility will be approximately 2 miles from campus. Construction for the nearly $4 million project, to be funded totally through private contributions, is intended to replace the buildings and pastures leased for many years in Galena, five miles north of Westerville.

The expanded facility will allow for an anticipated doubling of enrollment over the next ten years, and offer students the best possible education in this growing field.
