Week #6 (July 13-19, 2007)
This week there is much activity inside of McFadden Hall preparing window frames for the new glass to be installed. Although this is a major task, there is not a lot new to capture in photographs this week, so this week we are showing you photos of our temporary science facility. If you wish to see photos of this work, see last week's photos.
While McFadden Hall is undergoing renovation, science is still happening on the Otterbein College campus. A temporary science facility is being configured at 60 College View on the West side of campus. As you can see in the photos, the temporary science facility is coming together nicely and will be ready to accommodate students next month.
All of the plants from the greenhouse are flourishing even though they are receiving absolutely no natural sunlight. The laboratories are mostly in place; however, boxes of instruments still need to be put away. The crew was even able to install fume hoods in the temporary facility. It truly is amazing to see what has been accomplished since classes ended in early June.
