Scheduling a Skype appointment with your counselor

The Otterbein University Graduate School is proud to offer interested students an opportunity to schedule a Skype appointment with an admission counselor. For those of you who have not used Skype, it is a free internet based video conferencing service. It's easy to set up and use, and best of all it's free. Below are the items you will need and the steps of how to download and install the free Skype software. Once you have your Skype account, and everything installed and set up, you can schedule your appointment. Make sure you schedule with the counselor in the area of study you are interested in.

Computer requirements:

  1. Any computer with a web camera.
  2. Internet service.

Setting Up Skype:

Visit the skype website for a complete set of instructions.

  1. Download / Install the Skype software. PC users click here. MAC users click here.
  2. Set up your account and screen name.
  3. Add your contacts including your counselors screen name.
  4. Call your counselor at your scheduled time!
