Otterbein College Summer Classes

Education is HOT this summer at Otterbein!

The Summer Term provides a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses for many types of students. Whether you want to fulfill requirements, take transient classes back to your home college or university, explore new areas of interest, accelerate your degree program, or gain professional enrichment, Summer Term at Otterbein is the perfect time to experience your education.

Why enroll in Summer Term courses?

  • You can earn course credit in a short period of time.
  • Transient students can transfer classes back to their home school and get a head start on the next academic year.
  • Unique summer scheduling allows you to optimize your time in class and still have time for summer fun.
  • Classes are generally smaller in size, and the atmosphere is usually more relaxed.
  • Tuition is a bargain – regardless of the number of hours taken, you’re billed per credit hour. No flat tuition rates.
  • Faculty deliver the same quality instruction and commitment to student’s success as during the regular academic year.

Otterbein College Summer Session begins June 15; late registration is possible with a late fee until June 18.  There are some classes offered the second half of the summer beginning mid-July.

For more information or questions about Graduate or Continuing Studies summer classes, please contact Peggy Lobb. For more information about traditional undergraduate transient courses, please contact Ben Shoemaker or visit the Undergraduate Admission Transient Application website.
