Instructors:
Dr. P. Keane, Director of the Nurse Practitioner Programs, is an experienced educator and a practicing family nurse practitioner. Her area of expertise involved working with women and families through issues of domestic violence.
Dr. M. Vogt, is a certified family and pediatric nurse practitioner. She is an expert clinician who will complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2010 from Rush University. Her clinical area of interest is management of diabetes in all ages and the impact of childhood chronic illness of the family unit.
Ms. J. Haverkamp maintains a clinical practice in the emergency room/urgent care setting while teaching at Otterbein and studying for her DNP at the Ohio State University. Her most current research involves the use of “blogging” as a interactive tool for students to work collaboratively on clinical case studies.
