Go Greek!
Our Greek community enjoys almost 100 years of history at Otterbein College. There are six local sororities, six local fraternities, one national fraternity, and four National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Chapters.

Greek Week 2009 Harmony Night was held Tuesday, May 12 in the Campus Center lounge. EKT took the top spot among the sororities, while Sphinx clinched the fraternity win. Click here to see more photos from Harmony Night.
Greek Life Mission Statement
As members and supporters of fraternities and sororities at Otterbein College, we envision a Greek community that connects and supports all Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic and National Pan-Hellenic Council chapters as an integral part of the College. We commit to building a strong community through focus on academic achievement, community engagement, leadership development, friendship and social advancement.
Collaboration between chapters, reflection on our purposes/practices and appreciation for diversity are foremost tenets in our efforts to be a dynamic Greek community.
We Value:
Scholarship
We value chapters and members who prioritize and celebrate good scholarship while encouraging responsible time management. We value assisting students who are in need of academic support. We value providing a high quality academic environment.
Friendship
We value being an avenue to create friendships/sisterhood/brotherhood. We value a bond of loyalty, camaraderie, shared experience and respect between members and chapters.
Leadership
We value the opportunity to self-govern and develop the skills and talents for our members to impact our chapters and communities. We value leaders who demonstrate commitment, responsibility and accountability for the Greek community and who lead with integrity.
Community Engagement and Service
We value our partnerships with the college and surrounding community and our roles as good citizens within those communities. We value an atmosphere that promotes a genuine sense of caring and a desire to make life better for others. We value the opportunity to enrich the lives of our members through meaningful involvement in the community.
Social Advancement
We value the many leadership positions, committees, and opportunities in the Greek Community. We value the way our out-of-class learning experiences contribute to our members' personal and professional growth now and in the future.
We Value Our Uniqueness and "Local" Pride
We value our history as one of the nation's oldest and largest local Greek Communities. We believe that our chapters have a unique, individual identity, which makes the community diverse and attractive to a broad base of individuals.
