Charles Goodwin
Charles has been in his current position at Otterbein since the summer 1998. He has been an active participant in the development and growth of the CAATE-Accredited Athletic Training Program since his arrival.
Charles finished his undergraduate education at Furman University in Greenville, SC, and received a Master's in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida in 1991. He has been a certified athletic trainer since 1990 and has experience with all realms of the athletic world.
He started working with the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association in 1993 and took over as sub chair of the Web Committee as webmaster in 2006. He directs all aspects of the State Associations website, which includes many of the day to day functions of the organization. He was awarded Athletic Trainer of the Year in 2007 due to his efforts in the state organization.
He has also been involved with the Ohio Athletic Conference's Sportsmedicine Committee since his arrival in the conference in 1993, as Head Athletic Trainer at Muskingum College.
Charles is married (Bonnie) and has two daughters (Amanda and Charley).
