Kim Fischer

Kim FischerKim has been teaching at Otterbein since the 2004-05 academic year. Previously she taught in and administered the massage therapy program at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus and spent 19 years on the teaching faculty of Bluffton University where she also served as Department Chair, Associate Athletic Director, and head coach of several women's athletic teams.

Kim is an undergraduate of The College of Wooster in biology. Her master's degree is from Michigan State University and her terminal degree is in physical education from The Ohio State University.

Kim is a certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and also has this organization's certification as a Health and Fitness Instructor. She is certified as a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) personal trainer and has also garnered the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist distinction through NSCA. Kim has had life coach training and is certified through Wellcoaches, Inc. as a Wellcoach.
