Brenda Klein

Brenda KleinBrenda came to Otterbein College in the fall of 2005 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She was given the additional responsibilities of Clinical Education Coordinator the following year.

Brenda completed her undergraduate degree in Marietta College's accredited athletic training program and earned her Master's from UVa's accredited graduate program. She has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1996.

Prior to her time at Otterbein, Brenda worked for 8 years in the Division I setting at UNC-Wilmington, Duke University, and The Ohio State University. She was involved in creating a women's health screening protocol at Duke University. Since returning to Ohio, Brenda has been involved in the annual State Quiz Bowl and currently serves on the state's Student Trainer Committee as well as the OATA Student Program Planning Committee.

At Otterbein, Brenda teaches the Basic Athletic Training class for AT majors, the Senior Practicum Class, and is certified by the American Heart Association to teach First Aid and CPR. She also serves as the Community Service Committee advisor for the Otterbein Club of Athletic Training Students.
