Shelley Payne

Shelley PayneShelley has been an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Health and Sport Sciences since 2000. She came to Otterbein full-time in December of 2004 to provide physical therapy services out of the Freeman Athletic Training Center.

Shelley graduated from DePauw University in 1995 with a BA in Physical Education and Sports Medicine. She then continued on to receive her Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1997. Shelley is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis.

Her areas of clinical expertise include knee injury prevention, lower extremity biomechanics, and functional rehabilitation and testing. Shelley is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Sports Section and of the National Athletic Trainer's Association.

Shelley is married to Bryan and they have a daughter, Megan and a son, Ethan.
