Health Education Major
Within the Health Education major, students may choose to pursue a Public Health concentration or to seek Multi-Age (pre K-12) teacher licensure. Either concentration will prepare students to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam.
Those with a concentration in teacher licensure will be prepared to teach in school settings.
Those with a concentration in Public Health Education will be prepared to work as a health educator in community organizations such as health departments, voluntary organizations, or service organizations, as well as in worksites and health care settings.
