The resources for Banner software are only limited by the time you have to use them.

Bookshelf

The Banner Bookshelf is a series of Banner User Guides and documents developed by SungardHE to provide a general overview of Banner's features. Although a handy resource that explains the Banner system, it does not reflect Otterbein policies and procedures.

Documents are stored in Adobe PDF format. Although grouped nicely, Search will only yield items in the current document not the whole Bookshelf.

Bookmarks are another way to find information. Using the Bookmarks:

1. Click the Bookmarks tab on the left in the new screen to view the Bookmarks section of the PDF document.
2. You can widen the Bookmarks pane, if necessary, by dragging the border line to the right.
3. Click on Plus [+] to the left of the product name and chapter name to drill down to the topic and page you want.

The Bookshelf is also available within your Banner session

Training

On-site training will continue throughout the project. You can access the schedule by going to the AlphaFTP/Banner/Schedule intranet folder and checking for the most current version of the schedule.

If the link on the left does not take you to the Schedule folder. Try this.

On Campus, click the Start button, and choose Run. Copy this text \\Ochome\AlphaFTP\Banner\Schedule and paste it into the Run line, click OK.

Computer Based Training was purchased and can be accessed by the Banner CBT link on left.
