Password
Blackboard's
log-in system uses its own set of User Names and Passwords.
(Your network and e-Mail password will not work in Blackboard.)
When
your Blackboard account was established, we used your Otterbein
network User Name as your Blackboard User Name.
Next,
we used your Otterbein ID number as your default password.
(If you were part of the Otterbein community prior to the
Winter of 2006,  your
Blackboard password may have been set to your Social Security
number.
Changing Your Blackboard Password
After logging in to Blackboard, click on the
link on the left of the screen that says Personal
Information. On the next page, click on the link
that says Change Password. Enter your new
password (twice) and click the Submit button.
Retrieving Your Blackboard Password
In the Blackboard home page, click the Log
In button. Next, look for a link in the gray box that says
Forgot Password? Fill out the password request
form. Your password will be mailed to the e-mail address
on file with Blackboard.
