 Activate
Your Network Account
The very first thing you will need to do is activate
your network account. Doing so will turn on your network
access, Internet access and e-mail account.
Activating Your Account from
Off-Campus
You will need to know your OID (Otterbein
ID) to activate your account. This unique 8-digit
number can be found printed on your Cardinal Card
or after logon to Cardinal Web for Student. Log on
to Cardinal
Web for Student using your social security number
for your ID and your pin is our birth date in MM-DD-YY
format. Follow the on-screen directions.
Don't forget your password! You
might want to write a password hint on a piece of
paper until you have it memorized.
Activating Your Account on
Campus
Logon to any lab
computer and type newuser in the
logon box. Leave the password empty. Click Enter.
Open Internet Explorer.
Go to www.otterbein.edu/newuser.
Follow the on-screen directions.
Don't

 Getting Your Parking Decal
After activating your account, you should place an order for your parking decal.
