The Ecology concentration emphasizes the development of your abilities to recognize, understand, and solve environmental problems as we attempt to maintain biological diversity. Examples of these problem areas include environmental pollution, forest management, preservation of water and land resources, recovery of endangered species and habitats, and establishment and preservation of wetlands and other natural areas. You and your life science advisor will discuss your specific coursework to fulfill your career goals. Hands-on experience, and a supportive learning environment, and success are hallmarks of our life science program.
