Dr. Mary Gahbauer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Life and Earth Sciences. A former internist, she teaches anatomy, physiology, histology, and pathophysiology, and is advisor to students in the pre-health care professional concentration and to the premedical honor society.

- MRCP - Member of the Royal College of Physicians, equivalent of American Board certification in Internal Medicine

- Lecturer in pathophysiology at Otterbein 1989
- Assistant professor in the Life Science department since 1996
