4+1 MBA Application Guidelines
Students may register their interest in the 4+1 program as soon as possible in their freshman, sophomore or junior years.
Step 1:

Requirements: Students must submitt their letter of intent during their Freshman, Sopomore or Junior year.
Step 2:
Undergraduate preparation: Students admitted to the program must take the program’s four prerequisites courses (ACCT 200, ECON 210, ECON 220, and MATH 230), along with three MBA courses, an MBA Essentials courses and an internship* as an undergraduate student by the end of their senior year.
Internships: 4+1 MBA students must complete an internship in conjunction with their MBA coursework. The MBA Experiential Learning Coordinator and the Career Center will help students to set up their internships. It is essential that students participate in the internship program in order to be marketable upon receiving their MBA. Each student will be strongly encouraged to work in a paid internship for approximately 20 hours per week.
Step 3:
Applying to the MBA program: Students should plan on taking the GMAT in the summer after their junior year or early in the fall quarter of their senior year and then submit their MBA Application Packet shortly after taking the GMAT. Students are encouraged to study/prepare for this exam. The 4+1 MBA entrance minimum requirements are a GPA of 3.0 and a GMAT score of 500. Students whose GPA or GMAT scores do not meet these minimums will be considered for admission by the MBA Director on a case-by-case basis.
