Robyn Dixon Costa is the oboe professor at Otterbein College and holds the position of principal English horn with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also on the faculty at Capital University and the University of Dayton.
Ms. Costa has a BM from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, an MM from Temple University and a DMA in progress from The Ohio State University.
She is an avid chamber musician and received a two-year grant from Chamber Music America's Rural Residency Program with the Razbia ensemble. She has performed throughout the United States and Europe with chamber ensembles and orchestras. Committed to developing educational programs for children, Ms. Costa is also an artist in the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Artists in Schools Program and has previously been a member of Children of the Future, a collaboration between the Greater Columbus Arts Council and Americorps. Her teachers have included Sara Lambert Bloom, Richard Woodhams and Robert Sorton.
