Jack Jenny is a percussionist with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and has taught at Otterbein since 1977. He has developed the current curriculum for applied percussion, percussion methods and directs the percussion ensemble. He also teaches sophomore music theory (18th through 21st century styles), advanced theory (18th century counterpoint, fugue, Schenkerian Analysis and post-tonal theory), composition and electronic music. Dr. Jenny is an active composer of both acoustic and electro-acoustic music. His doctorate is in music composition from The Ohio State University.
