B.S.N. Admission Requirements

  • two studentsAdmission to the College (This is a separate application processed by the Admissions Office (undergraduate students) or the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies (non-traditional students).
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Completion of the following courses at a C level or above by the end of spring quarter the year you plan to enter nursing:
    Chemistry 110 General Chemistry
    INST 100, 105, or 110 Freshman English
    INST 130 General Psychology
    Life Science 108 Anatomy and Physiology I
    Life Science 109 Anatomy and Physiology II
  • Prerequisite courses with a grade less than a C must be repeated. Earning less than a C on the initial attempt at math, science, or nursing courses may negatively influence your admission status.
  • L.P.N. to B.S.N. applicants: Enter nursing courses in the fall. Applicants must complete the above prerequisites and have current LPN licensure in Ohio.
