Continuing Education Courses

Otterbein College is committed to life-long education. As part of this commitment, we offer continuing education programs for nurses. The following programs are currently available:

Legal, Fiscal & Ethical Implications of Prescriptive Authority for Advanced Practice Nurses
This course is an online course for 7.0 contact hours. Meets requirements for education (Category A) related to Ohio nursing laws and rules needed in advanced pharmacology for the nurse holding a Certificate to Prescribe (CtP) in Ohio. Cost: $100. Registration form.

Advanced Pharmacology & Therapeutics
This course is an online course for 48.0 contact hours. This course fulfills all requirements to apply for prescriptive authority in Ohio. Cost: $500. Registration form.

Camp Nursing
This course is an online course for 8.0 contact hours. Cost: $100. Registration form.
