Hello, I am Ann Teske. My bachelor and master's degrees in nursing are from the University of Iowa where I serve on the Dean's advisory board and am a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Iowa Alumni Association. My doctorate degree is from The Ohio State University in Education with specialization in curriculum and research.

I have served as the technical writer for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Proposal for Ohio Board of Regents (2007-2008), and for the CCNE (2005) and NLNAC (2006) accreditation reports for the Department of Nursing. (My next book will be fictional!) We are delighted that you are a member of the first doctoral class at Otterbein College.

My previous position was Executive Director for the Institute for Health and Human Services at Ohio University (1994-2002). In that position, I was one of three authors of the Ohio Rural Health Plan. My portion was to design the Critical Access Hospital Program for Ohio (Ohio Flex Program) and along with two associates, we provided the electronic evaluation for the first three years of the program for the federal government.

My research interests are in complimentary approaches to health promotion and interventions. My research experience has all been in quantitative research.

I also have a strategic management and leadership consultanting firm: A. Teske & Associates that has worked with Ohio University, the Ohio Department of Health, and Appalachian Center for Economic Networks.
