| The mission of the Women's Studies Minor Program is to promote interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding of the history, contributions, conditions, and issues affecting women in society and gender as a system by: | |
| 1. |
coordinating Women's Studies courses, special academic events, and service learning; |
| 2. |
promoting awareness of international and global trends on the status of women; |
| 3. | increasing students' interaction skills, critical thinking skills, and their understanding of issues facing diverse societies today; |
| 4. |
providing outreach opportunities for the campus community. |
