Otterbein invites visiting scholars and performers to campus to entertain and educate.

Throughout the academic year, Otterbein hosts a variety of national scholars and performers through our Common Book program, Signature Series, Enrichment Series, Vernon L. Pack Lecture Series, Science Lecture Series and more.

From acclaimed journalist Fareed Zakaria and former White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers to award-winning independent filmmaker Gus Van Sant and renowned artist Harrell Fletcher, the community has the unique opportunity to learn from some of the leading scholars, artists and professionals of our time.

Leymah Gbowee, 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, will speak at Otterbein University at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23. The event will take place in Cowan Hall at 30 S. Grove St. Tickets can be purchased online at www.librariesforliberiafoundation.com or at www.ticketleap.com.

Geraldine Brooks, winner of the Pulitzer Price in fiction in 2006 for her historical novel, March, presents on Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. in Riley Auditorium, 170 W. Park St., Westerville.
