As an Otterbein employee, you are eligible the first of the month after employment, provided you enroll within 30 days after hire date or annual open enrollment. Some benefits vary for faculty, administrative, and bi-weekly staff.
- Health Care Reimbursement Account: Pre-tax dollars can be put aside to pay for medical, dental, & vision costs not reimbursed by insurance.
- Limited Purpose Account for HSA Enrollees Only: Pre-tax dollars can be put aside to pay for dental and vision related costs not reimbursed by insurance.
- Dependent Care Reimbursement Account: Pre-tax dollars can be set aside for expenses for care of dependent child or dependent spouse or parent.
- Premium Redirection Account: Premiums for health and dental insurance can be deducted on a pre-tax basis.
