Amanda Le Kline is from Strausstown, Pennsylvania. In 2008 she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Arts from Lycoming College, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She then completed a post-baccalaureate program in the Art Department at Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She received her MFA from The Ohio State University in 2014.

Her research interests come from the fields of art history, anthropology, mythology, and women and gender studies. Humor is also a very important part of her work.
