Diane has been involved with the central Ohio arts community for over 25 years. She was a coordinator for grants, technical assistance and evaluation for the Ohio Arts Council and served the Greater Columbus Arts Council for nineteen years, most of them as Vice President for Programs, overseeing the agency's grants programs and special projects. Diane has served on numerous funding panels for local and state arts agencies, and on committees, juries, and conference panels for art selection, arts funding and art reviews. She completed undergraduate and graduate work in fine arts, the history of art, and arts policy at The Ohio State University, and is adjunct instructor of arts administration in the Department of Art at Otterbein. Diane is in her second year as the appointed Chair of the Columbus Art Commission, a seven-member volunteer commission that champions art and design in the public realm as integral and vital to the life of our city. The CAC encourages the development of urban spaces that welcome residents and visitors with a responsibly managed program of art in public places.
