Personal Bio
Before accepting her current position, Dr. Seibert was associated with nurse anesthesia programs at Case Western Reserve University, University of Pittsburgh, Medical College of Georgia,, and Virginia Commonwealth University. She has served as an officer of the Ohio and Georgia state nurse anesthetist associations and has served on numerous professional committees. She is a past director of the AANA Foundation, and served on the AANA Education Committee and Infection Control Taskforce. Currently Dr. Seibert is a Director of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs and a member of the AANA .
Dr. Seibert has published articles and book chapters on a variety of topics. Her research interests have centered on workforce issues, patient safety, and rural CRNA practice. Her dissertation focused on organizational factors impacting nurse anesthesia practice and patient safety. In her spare time, Dr. Seibert likes to read, cycle, cook, and work in the garden.
