  • Received the 2007 Honor Roll 4-Year Newspaper Adviser Award from University Media Advisers. Warren and her students were also awarded a Louis Inglehart First Amendment Fund Grant to do free speech education and activities on Otterbein's campus
  • Worked for Suburban News Publications covering Whitehall as a beat reporter to evaluate how well Otterbein University's journalism program prepared students for their first jobs. That experience garnered Otterbein's Professor Gilbert E. Mills Memorial Endowed Faculty Sabbatical Award.
Personal Bio
Dr. Warren is also serves as adviser to the Tan and Cardinal, the award-winning weekly student newspaper. She received the 2007 Honor Roll 4-Year Newspaper Adviser Award from University Media Advisers. Warren and her students were also awarded a Louis Inglehart First Amendment Fund Grant to do free speech education and activities on Otterbein's campus. During her 2007 sabbatical, Warren worked for Suburban News Publications covering Whitehall as a beat reporter to evaluate how well Otterbein University's journalism program prepared students for their first jobs and that experience garnered Otterbein's Professor Gilbert E. Mills Memorial Endowed Faculty Sabbatical Award. Warren's academic research is concerned with the economics of religious media. Previous to teaching she worked in California state politics and for radio stations.
