Dr. Kelly's specialties include publication design, online technologies and magazine writing and editing. Many of her classes also include service learning, an approach that integrates community service with academic study in order to enrich learning, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. Her current research includes investigations of how directed classroom use of new online social media might improve critical thinking skills of college students.
