Personal Bio
Jonathan Johnson received an M.F.A. in Photography and Intermedia from the University of Iowa, an M.A. in Art from Minnesota State University and a B.A. in Photojournalism from the University of Alaska. Recently, Mr. Johnson has exhibited his films and photographs at the Wexner Center for the Arts, SoNik New Media Festival, The Living Arts and Sciences Center, Vermont PhotoPlace Gallery, and the University of Westminster, as well as internationally in Japan, Germany, Italy, India, Croatia and Romania. Mr. Johnson has received awards from The Principal Financial Group, Society for Photographic Education, Stanley Foundation and The Obermann Institute and has work in several museum and gallery collections. Currently, Mr. Johnson is an active member in the Wildland Urban Interface artist collective and an Assistant Professor of Photography and Digital Media at Otterbein College in Westerville, OH.
