Michael has been at Otterbein University since 1999. He has been a practicing farrier for over 20 years and is an AFA Certified Journeyman Farrier.
Michael is very active in the American Farrier Association, and he serves as a judge at various AFA competitions.
He is originally from Zanesville, Ohio. He now resides in New Concord with his wife Phyllis, their son Clint, and their menagerie of cats, dogs, and horses.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys working on his small farm raising free-range chickens and sheep. He also enjoys metal crafting,
