Creative work: Author of The River’s Daughter: Poems (Bottom Dog Press, 2008) and Poetry of Place: Helping Students Writer Their World (NCTE, 2009). Ohio Poet of the Year in 2009.
Recent or new topical courses: "Teaching Creative Writing in the Community," "Semiotics of the Self," "Art and Politics," "Poetry Writing.”
Senior project interests: Poetry, Short-Short Stories, Memoirs, Multi-genre works.
