Research & Teaching Interests

Manufacturing process and systems engineering; metal casting; engineering material (metals, polymers, ceramics, composites) selection for manufacturing processes and products; design, manufacture, and economics of tooling for manufacturing; influence of processing parameters and metallurgical condition of dies/molds on service life; life cycle and carbon footprint analysis of manufacturing processes and products, automation of manufacturing processes.
