March 09, 2016
Otterbein University

More than 350 Otterbein University students, faculty, staff and alumni will participate in the annual Spring Plunge sponsored by the University’s Center for Community Engagement on Saturday, April 2. This one-day service event will benefit more than 25 Westerville and Columbus community agencies.

This year, volunteers will spend their morning assisting community partners with projects that will include maintenance of a local watershed with Friends of Alum Creek and Tributaries (FACT); landscaping at St. Luke’s on 5th United Methodist Church and the Otterbein Community Garden; and helping care for homeless pets and cleaning cages at CHA Animal Shelter.

For more information about the Spring Plunge or to learn how to get involved, email lcavin@otterbein.edu, or view on Facebook (OtterbeinCCE) or Twitter (@OtterbeinCCE).
