Westerville, OH — Otterbein University opens its doors to prospective adult students for information sessions on Wednesday, Oct. 5; Thursday, Oct. 20; and Wednesday, Nov. 16.  The Oct. 20 session will feature staff from the Office of Financial Aid explaining ways to fund a college education. All sessions begin at 6 p.m. in room 118 of Towers Hall, 1 S. Grove St.  Register online at www.otterbein.edu/openhouse.

Otterbein recognizes that adults have busy lives and obligations. They may be beginning their educational journeys or picking up where they left off. Some may need additional professional development in order to advance or change careers.

Attendees will learn about degree completion programs for adult learners, designed to maximize prior earned college credit. Programs include business, business accounting and leadership.

Additional programs designed for adult learners include business and organizational communication, organizational leadership, and a leadership certificate that can be applied toward the leadership majors.

The organizational leadership certificate is a comprehensive, four-course professional development certificate for the aspiring executive, project manager, high-potential supervisor, entrepreneur or individual who wants to identify, learn and apply the fundamentals of organizational leadership.

Otterbein is also proud to welcome military veterans and their families through the Post 9/11 Yellow Ribbon program.

Conveniently located near the I-71 and 270 exit, Otterbein’s classes are small and students receive personal attention and individual advising. The tuition is affordable and scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Spring semester begins Jan. 9, 2017.  Apply online at www.otterbein.edu/apply. To meet with an advisor, call (614) 823-1500, e-mail cardinalinfo@otterbein.edu or visit www.otterbein.edu/earndegree.
