Otterbein University Choirs to Perform "Song of Asia"

Westerville, OH—The Otterbein University Choirs will perform a program titled Song of Asia: Celebrating the Music of Central Asia at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19 at Riley Auditorium in the Battelle Fine Arts Center, 170 W. Park St. This event is free and open to the public.

Celebrate the cultures of Central Asia with the Otterbein choirs this February. The singers of the university’s Men’s Chorus, Women’s Chorale and Concert Choir will honor the music of India, Nepal, China and Mongolia with arrangements of traditional folks songs as well as works that celebrate Mongolian horses, the beauty of the Himalayas, and the excitement of Bollywood. Otterbein’s international students will appear as special guests, sharing readings from their home countries.
