Westerville, OH—The Otterbein Singers, under the direction of Dennis Davenport and Joyce Stonebraker, present a concert to benefit the Friends of Courtright Library at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, at Church of the Master United Methodist, 24 N. Grove St.

The concert is titled Otterbein Singers At The Movies! The first half of the program, Fred Astaire and Friends, includes such classics as “A Foggy Day,” “They Can't Take That Away From Me,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Over The Rainbow” (featuring ukulele), and “Singin’ In The Rain.” In the second half, the singers will explore such recent movie hits as Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On the Wall” from Spectre, “Glory” from Selma, and tunes from Disney animated features.

Including choral arrangements, solos, duets and small ensembles, the program features the talents of the 40-member Otterbein Singers, a choral ensemble made up entirely of bachelor of fine arts in musical theatre and acting students. The concert is accompanied by a combo featuring Otterbein Music Department students on keyboard, bass and drums, as well as co-director Joyce Stonebraker.

The concert will be followed by a reception with the Friends of Courtright Library, with refreshments and a meet and greet with the singers.
