Otterbein University Presents How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

April 12, 2013

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University Theatre & Dance and the Department of Music presents the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25; 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28; and 8 p.m. on April 26-27 and May 2-4 at the Fritsche Theatre at Roush Hall, 30 S. Grove St. Tickets cost $25. Call 614-823-1109 or visit www.otterbein.edu/drama.

From the authors of Guys And Dolls comes one of the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time, a satire of big business and all it holds sacred. The play follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the boss’ whiny nephew, the aggressively compliant “company man,” the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying was the winner of seven Tony Awards in 1962, including Best Musical.

Tickets for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying are $25 each and can be reserved by calling the Otterbein University box office at (614) 823-1109 or purchased online at www.otterbein.edu/drama. The box office is open 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and one hour prior to performances. Student Rush discounts are available one hour prior to curtain, pending ticket availability. The box office is located in Cowan Hall, 30 S. Grove St., Westerville.
