(Westerville, OH)--- Westerville native Kristi Robbins has accepted the position as chief of staff in the President’s Office at Otterbein University. She will join Otterbein on Monday, October 3.
“Kristi has more than 25 years of experience in leadership, change management and human resource functions in both private and public sector organizations across several industries,” said Otterbein University President Kathy Krendl. “Her strengths will be a wonderful asset in my office and to others within Otterbein, including the Board of Trustees, the general community and our external partners.”
Robbins’ particular strengths include professional development, leadership development, organizational development, performance management, continuous quality improvement and strategic planning having served posts with Columbus State Community College, Leadership Westerville, Leadership Development Group and Permedion, Inc. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds many professional certifications. She currently serves as the President of the Westerville City School Board and will continue her part-time post as the Executive Director of Leadership Westerville.
“I consider it a privilege to be offered the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Krendl and the Otterbein University community as Chief of Staff, said Robbins. “Otterbein has a rich history of being a progressive and inclusive leader in higher education as well as a strong community partner. It’s an honor to be joining the Otterbein team.”
Robbins lives in Westerville with her husband Eric and family. They have a son Eric, a senior at the College of Wooster, a daughter Brooke, a sophomore at Otterbein and a son Brad at Heritage Middle School.
