Westerville, OH—Otterbein University will have Jean Haplin as the speaker for the 2014 Masters Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17, in Cowan Hall.
After working with OhioHealth for nearly 22 years as, most recently, chief operations officer for OhioHealth Neighborhood Care, Haplin was appointed president of OhioHealth MedCentral in Mansfield, Ohio, in March of 2014. In this role she provides leadership for OhioHealth MedCentral’s Mansfield and Shelby hospitals, MedCentral’s ambulatory network and other programs and services.
She also has a history of working in the Westerville Community. Halpin’s board memberships and affiliations include the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (W.A.R.M.), and serving as the 2014 Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as volunteering for several other organizations where she is an advocate for autism and other mental illness.
Halpin received her Masters of Health Science degree from the University of Indianapolis and her Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy from The Ohio State University.
