Otterbein University Graduate Symposium Discusses Society 3.0 - How Technology is Reshaping Education, Work and Society

Westerville, OH—Otterbein University’s Graduate School Symposium Series presents Dr. Tracy Wilen discussing Society 3.0: How Technology is Reshaping Education, Work and Society, with a reception at 6 p.m. and presentation at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, in Roush Hall, 27 S. Grove St. The event is free and open to the public; advance registration is encouraged.

Wilen is a prominent thought leader on the impact of technology on society, work and careers. She is a former visiting scholar at Stanford University’s Media X program and has held leadership positions at Apple, HP, Cisco Systems, and the Apollo Group.

The Graduate School Symposium Series is offered twice each year, during spring and fall semester. The Series provokes new thought, stimulates engaging conversations and promotes collaborations through talks on varied topics of interest. Topics range from education, health care, change management, technology innovations, commerce, creative arts and social justice. The Series facilitates the exchange of ideas and knowledge among faculty, graduate students, and the public. Formal question-and-answer sessions allow deeper inquiry into the session topic.
